The Veterinarian is responsible for providing medical care to animals, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgery, and providing preventive care. The Veterinarian will work with a variety of animals, including pets, livestock, and exotic animals.


  • Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals. This includes conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
  • Provide preventive care for animals. This includes advising pet owners on vaccination schedules, parasite control, and nutrition.
  • Perform surgery on animals. This includes procedures such as spaying and neutering, and the removal of tumors.
  • Educate pet owners about animal health and care. This includes providing information about diseases, treatments, and preventive care.
  • Work with animal breeders and owners to improve animal welfare. This includes providing advice on breeding practices, and working to prevent animal cruelty.


  • D.V.M. or V.M.D. degree
  • Experience in clinical practice
  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
  • Experience with a variety of diagnostic and treatment techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
