The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that help the company achieve its goals. This includes creating and managing social media accounts, developing content, and measuring the effectiveness of social media efforts. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for working with other departments to ensure that social media is aligned with the company’s overall goals.
Create and manage social media accounts: This includes creating and managing accounts on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Develop content: This includes developing content that is engaging, informative, and relevant to the company’s target audience.
Measure the effectiveness of social media efforts: This includes tracking the results of social media efforts, identifying areas for improvement, and making adjustments as needed.
Work with other departments to ensure that social media is aligned with the company’s overall goals: This includes working with the sales team to ensure that social media is aligned with sales goals, working with the product development team to ensure that social media is aligned with product development goals, and working with the customer service team to ensure that social media is aligned with customer service goals.
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends: This includes reading industry publications, attending conferences, and following thought leaders on social media.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Experience in social media
Strong understanding of social media principles and techniques
