Responsibilities

  • Develop investment models: Securities Analysts develop investment models to help them assess the value of securities. These models use mathematical and statistical techniques to predict the future performance of securities.
  • Write research reports: Securities Analysts write research reports to communicate their findings to clients. These reports typically include an analysis of the company’s financial performance, a valuation of the company’s securities, and an investment recommendation.
  • Present research findings: Securities Analysts present their research findings to clients and other stakeholders. This can be done through presentations, webinars, or other means.
  • Stay up-to-date on market news: Securities Analysts must stay up-to-date on the latest market news in order to make informed investment decisions. They read financial news articles, attend industry conferences, and network with other analysts to stay informed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
