Summary

The Science Liaison is responsible for facilitating communication between scientists and other stakeholders, such as policymakers, the media, and the public. The Science Liaison will work to ensure that scientific research is communicated in a clear and engaging way, and that the needs of stakeholders are met.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate scientific research to healthcare professionals. This includes presenting research findings at conferences, writing articles for medical journals, and developing educational materials.
  • Provide guidance to healthcare professionals on the use of scientific research. This includes answering questions about research findings, and helping clinicians to apply research findings to their practice.
  • Promote the use of scientific research in healthcare. This includes working with healthcare organizations to adopt evidence-based practices, and advocating for the use of scientific research in policy decisions.
  • Build relationships with scientists and clinicians. This includes attending scientific conferences, networking with scientists and clinicians, and providing feedback on research findings.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest scientific research. This includes reading scientific journals, attending conferences, and following online resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
  • Experience in science communication
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
