
Summary
The National Sales Director is responsible for leading the company’s national sales team and developing and executing sales strategies that achieve or exceed sales goals. The National Sales Director will work closely with regional sales managers, sales representatives, and other key stakeholders to ensure that the company’s sales goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies that achieve or exceed sales goals.
- Set sales quotas and track progress toward goals.
- Provide guidance and support to regional sales managers and sales representatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Identify and close new business opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports and presentations.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Travel frequently.
