
Summary
The Marketing Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s marketing technology stack. This includes selecting, implementing, and managing the company’s marketing software platforms, as well as ensuring that the company’s marketing data is accurate and accessible. The Marketing Technology Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing marketing technology strategies that help the company achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
- Select, implement, and manage the company’s marketing software platforms: This includes evaluating different marketing software platforms, selecting the right platforms for the company’s needs, and implementing those platforms.
- Ensure that the company’s marketing data is accurate and accessible: This includes developing data management processes, ensuring that data is properly stored and backed up, and providing access to data to marketing team members.
- Develop and execute marketing technology strategies: This includes developing strategies for using marketing technology to achieve the company’s marketing goals, and executing those strategies.
- Work with other departments to ensure that marketing technology is aligned with the company’s overall goals: This includes working with the sales team to ensure that marketing technology is aligned with sales goals, working with the product development team to ensure that marketing technology is aligned with product development goals, and working with the customer service team to ensure that marketing technology is aligned with customer service goals.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing technology trends: This includes reading industry publications, attending conferences, and following thought leaders on social media.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Experience in marketing technology
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
