The Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that achieve the company’s goals. This includes understanding the company’s target audience, identifying marketing opportunities, and developing creative marketing campaigns. The Marketing Strategist will also be responsible for tracking the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and making adjustments as needed.
Understand the company’s target audience: This includes researching the company’s target audience, understanding their needs and wants, and identifying their pain points.
Identify marketing opportunities: This includes researching the competitive landscape, identifying trends, and developing new marketing ideas.
Develop creative marketing campaigns: This includes developing marketing campaigns that are aligned with the company’s goals, target audience, and budget.
Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns: This includes tracking the results of marketing campaigns, identifying areas for improvement, and making adjustments as needed.
Work with other departments to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the company’s overall goals: This includes working with the sales team to ensure that marketing campaigns are aligned with sales goals, working with the product development team to ensure that marketing campaigns are aligned with product development goals, and working with the customer service team to ensure that marketing campaigns are aligned with customer service goals.
Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends: This includes reading industry publications, attending conferences, and following thought leaders on social media.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Experience in marketing strategy
Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
