Management Accountant

Summary

The Management Accountant is responsible for providing financial information and analysis to management to support decision-making. The Management Accountant will work with other members of the accounting team to develop and implement financial planning and reporting systems, and to analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial information and analysis to management. This includes preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, and providing insights to management on the company’s financial performance.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and reporting systems. This includes working with management to develop financial goals and objectives and to design and implement systems to track and report on financial performance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities. This includes identifying trends in financial data and using this information to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support other departments with financial analysis. This includes providing financial analysis to other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Other duties as assigned. This may include a variety of other tasks related to management accounting, such as preparing presentations, conducting training, and providing support to other departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in management accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
