
Summary
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial reporting, accounting, and treasury functions. The Financial Controller will work with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies, and will also be responsible for managing the company’s financial risks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the company’s financial reporting. This includes ensuring that financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee the company’s accounting functions. This includes ensuring that accounting records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Oversee the company’s treasury functions. This includes managing the company’s cash flow, investments, and debt.
- Develop and implement financial strategies. This includes working with the CFO to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage the company’s financial risks. This includes identifying and managing financial risks, such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Provide financial advice to the CFO and other senior executives. This includes providing analysis of financial data, developing financial projections, and making recommendations on financial matters.
- Communicate financial information to stakeholders. This includes preparing financial reports, making presentations, and answering questions.
- Other duties as assigned. This may include a variety of other tasks related to financial management, such as preparing presentations, conducting training, and providing support to other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in financial management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
