The Biostatistician is responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing statistical studies in the field of biomedicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and biology.


  • Design and conduct statistical studies. This includes developing research questions, designing study protocols, collecting data, and analyzing data.
  • Interpret and communicate statistical results. This includes explaining the meaning of statistical results to researchers and other stakeholders.
  • Develop statistical methods. This includes developing new statistical methods for analyzing biomedical data.
  • Collaborate with researchers. This includes working with researchers to design studies, collect data, and analyze data.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest statistical methods. This includes reading statistical journals, attending conferences, and following online resources.


  • Bachelor’s degree in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience in biostatistics
  • Strong programming skills
  • Experience with statistical analysis software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
