The Biostatistician is responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing statistical studies in the field of biomedicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics and biology.
Design and conduct statistical studies. This includes developing research questions, designing study protocols, collecting data, and analyzing data.
Interpret and communicate statistical results. This includes explaining the meaning of statistical results to researchers and other stakeholders.
Develop statistical methods. This includes developing new statistical methods for analyzing biomedical data.
Collaborate with researchers. This includes working with researchers to design studies, collect data, and analyze data.
Stay up-to-date on the latest statistical methods. This includes reading statistical journals, attending conferences, and following online resources.
Bachelor’s degree in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Experience in biostatistics
Strong programming skills
Experience with statistical analysis software
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts
